Huntley Berry Farm
The Huntley Berry Farm specializes in
the production and sale of 11 varieties of berries. Our main source of
sales has been “pick your own” and markets with some wholesale sales of
frozen berries. Last season we undertook an intense marketing campaign
and managed to secure visits from bus companies on short day/overnight
trips, vintage car clubs, social clubs, play groups etc. The introduction
of a café/gift shop where we sold jams, sauces, pickles etc. helped to

Nursery
The Natures Care Nursery was
initially established in the late 1980’s and has been progressively
developed since then. At present we operate a number of different
sections, Retail, Wholesale, Landscape Supplies and Contract Garden
Maintenance. Retail is a mix of self propagated and purchased varieties
of species to suit coastal climatic conditions. Our Wholesale area
concentrate on mainly landscape varieties and these are sold into both
local and Sydney and Newcastle markets. We are members of the Nursery
Industry Association and conduct stalls at the regular trade markets at
Rouse Hill in Sydney and Newcastle. Our Landscape Supplies business is
well established and we sell a range of products from soils and mixes to

Highlands of Victoria, the nursery was established in 1888 to produce
plants to revegetate land cleared for gold mining during the 1850’s –
60’s. Most of the seedlings
produced at Creswick were conifers and the nursery became Victoria’s main
supplier of plantation species.
Over the years native species were introduced and today the nursery
produces more than 200 species of native trees, shrubs and understorey
